Future X Power recognises that customers may experience significant changes in their lives, impacting their ability to repay their financial commitments. We have adopted a Hardship Policy that is designed to assist customers to repay their electricity bills on a payment arrangement and to keep their power connected.

As a customer your rights are :

 

  • Access to customer support services, including financial counsellors and other community support agencies.
  • Access to available government grants and concessions.
  • Access to energy usage audits and programs.
  • Access to appliance replacement programs and assistance.
  • Access to affordable payment plans.
  • Renegotiation of payment plans.
  • Where appropriate, the right of a customer’s financial counsellor to deal with us concerning an appropriate assistance program.
  • The right not to be disconnected whilst actively participating in an assistance program.

Short-Term Payment Plan

 

if you are experiencing long-term financial difficulty, you can choose to pay equal weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payment for a period of 6-12 months. We will agree to a repayment amount which will cover the arrears and estimated usage during the payment plan period. We will provide financial assistance to reduce your energy usage, including field audits and replacement appliances

 

Long-Term Payment Plan
